I have been working on my schools new website for a few months now. Many a free lesson and Coke cans were sacrificed to bring together Drupal and my school.

I used Drupal to make the site easily editable by executive and administrative staff members at the school. Although I would have liked to build it myself but hey, thats just what most developers think.

I did get one chance to do some custom PHP and that was with the Intranet. It was integrated with the schools LDAP authentication service to allow a single login for the schools services. In it is just a simple message board area for admins to post messages to the schools students and teachers plus links to other services such as Moodle and a Wiki.
